Infosys intended to set up its largest campus yet at Mahindra City near Chennai where the company owns 125 acres of land. The Rs 1,250 crore facility will have a built-up area of five million sq ft.About Rs 350 crore would be spent on the project by the the end of 2006.

Addressing presspersons at Infosys'' Electronic City campus, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi said that his Government intended to promote Hosur as a Tier 2 IT destination, by attraction more investment to the city.
