Chennai-based Gemini Communication signed an agreement to acquire the entire share capital of Clear Blue Llc

Chennai-based Gemini Communication Ltd (BSE:532318) on Wednesday said it has signed an agreement to acquire the entire share capital of Clear Blue Llc.

Clear Blue owns Internet Protocol and Intellectual Property Rights products in the wireless broadband space, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.

After the acquisition, Gemini Communications would become the largest wireless broadband company in South Asia, it said.

The shares of the wireless networking company were trading at Rs 335, down 3.28 per cent at the BSE.
