IT firm Scandent Solutions Corporation Ltd on Monday said its US-based wholly owned subsidiary Scandent Group Inc has acquired Nexplicit, an SAP (System Applications and Products) services provider.
"SAP continues to dominate the enterprise solutions market and we are delighted to augment our presence in this area with the acquisition of Nexplicit, a SAP consulting partner, with an American blue-chip client base," Scandent Solutions chief strategy and corporate development officer Dilip Keshu said.
The acquisition of this profitable company would also boost the revenue and margins for Scandent's IT division, he added.
Nexplicit focuses on staff augmentation, solutions development, implementation and support on SAP application systems and has an annual revenue in excess of US $13 million. It works with Fortune 500 companies and offers an industry-specific solution MediaFINALE to the entertainment industry.
Scandent Solutions Corporation Ltd would soon be known as Cambridge Solutions Ltd, it said.
Shares of the company were trading at Rs 117, up 5.31 per cent on the BSE.
