Jun. 9, 2006

UK-based Datastrip, a biometric mobile verification and identity solutions company, will soon offer its software solutions in India in collaboration with another UK-based company, Brick Red.

The Datastrip/BrickRed solution would support data collection, production, distribution and verification of a wide variety of identification documents ranging from employee ID to cards used for government initiatives, Datastrip CEO Steve Blackmore told reporters here.

The demand for sophisticated card systems is growing rapidly and these solutions can easily be deployed for traditional commercial and other ID initiatives that require biometric card systems for physical, logical and mobile access control, he said.
