Japanese Internet firm Softbank posts profit vs year-ago loss

The Tokyo-based Internet and telecommunications company said it posted a group net profit of Y39.73 billion for the quarter, a sharp improvement from a loss of Y27.27 billion a year earlier. It was also better than its October-December net profit of Y22.00 billion.
