Apr. 8, 2006

A joint Indo-Russian committee will be formed to work out proposals for completing the Kudankulam nuclear power plant as soon as possible, the chief of the Russian Federal Agency for Atomic Energy, S V Kiriyenko said.

Addressing a press meet along with Indian Atomic Energy Commission Chairman Anil Kakodkar, Kiriyenko said the committee would submit its proposals by middle of May.
