The war is on. Al-Queda and Taliban extremists have decided to kill mercilessly anyone who tries to help stop terrorism. Pakistan is obviously first hit. The Musharraf regime has maximum to worry because they sit next to these terrorists.
Five tribal elders in Pakistan's South Waziristan region who helped Pakistan's army hunt Islamist militants were killed in three separate attacks by suspected Taliban or al Qaeda gunmen, local officials said July 22. One tribal elder was killed July 22 on a road in Wana, the main town in South Waziristan. Three more tribal elders were killed July 22 when their vehicle was ambushed on a road in Karwan Manza, which is 75 miles south of Wana. The fifth tribal elder was killed July 21 in Lalizhai, about 60 miles south of Wana.
