India cannot create jobs in US
Balaji Reddy
Jun. 29, 2005

The trade surplus with US tells the true story! Some oligarchs reign India!

Consumers in India still do not have any buying power in international standard.

Contrary to popular opinion that India is helping US by creating jobs is not only misleading is also totally outright false. Indian consumers do not have the buying power in international standards. While outsourcing revenue is going to some Indian corrupt oligarchs, common people of India are actually losing jobs and their life is becoming harder.

Whatever foreign goods Indian consumers can buy come from South east and low cost production countries. Mostly these are made in India. Indian currency is so weak that India’s common people cannot buy any goods at the international prices. The only conspicuous thing India bought from US is a plane from Boeing – and that too at a huge discount to make Bush Administration happy over Airbus’s protests. That contract should have gone to Airbus anyway if things were played fairly.

India oligarch business community controlling the Indian Government behind the curtain is looting the outsourcing dollar at the cost common people in US and India. US oligarchs are gaining too.

What is happening in India is pathetic. In the name of privatization, Indian Government is making people unemployed and selling the national infrastructures to local and international oligarchs. In America common people are losing jobs because of India and China.
