Jet Airways probably clean of Al-Queda links but a larger question looms – can Al-Queda use quick money attitude of Indian companies to enter and hurt US interests?
Anil Sen
Jun. 8, 2005

US Government has asked Jet Airways to furnish detailed security information related to flying into US from abroad. Jet Airways says they are clean and are furnishing these detailed information. According to them these are standard procedure and they will come out clean and crisp from all allegations by a US Airlines of the same name.

However, a much larger question looms. Indian companies are well known as “quick money” players. They supply programmer bodies to US companies and make a few dollars here and there. These companies will trade wheat and sugar in the daytime and then trade humans (programmers and call center bodies) at night. Al-Queda and other Islamic Jihadists flushed with oil money can buy these quick money Indians easily. These are not US Citizens or permanent residents. They just want to grab US businesses. They would do anything for money.

These companies can be used by Al-Queda (paying some hefty money) to enter India and create havoc in America. If that happens then there will be severe consequence on Indian Americans making a living in America. Life of Indian American is such tough in US. Any episode of an Indian company being used by Al-Queda will become a nightmare for the Indian Americans in US. The quick money Indian companies will run away in no time. But it will be the Indian Americans facing a nightmare.
