Asian solidarity surrounding availability and need for oil – India to host the critical meeting of Asian producers and consumers of black gold

Crude oil is scarce in Asia and in the whole world. Asian countries are trying to adopt a strategy that will keep Asian oil in Asia. China and India are the biggest and fast emerging oil and gas consumers. Asian Gas and Crude Oil producers other than Middle East nations are to meet with Asian consumers. India is taking a lead role. India understands that the Crude Oil availability will determine the future of a nation. India and China’s growth can be short lived if proper energy supplies are not identified, reserved and secured.
India will hold a meeting in October between the former Soviet and oil-producing states of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Russia and Turkmenistan and major Asian consumers of oil China, India, Japan and South Korea, the Indian Petroleum Minister said on May 31.
