Smart Living combines smart investments, success at work, smart money management and excellent health
The contemporary smart living phenomenon combines a lot of finer things in life. You want to be well off, be successful at work, maintain an excellent health and be successful in investing your money.
All these aspects are centered on your good health. Maintaining lower cholesterol, slow reduction of weight in case you are overweight, eating right and maintain a lively active lifestyle with regular exercise is very important.
Studies show those who are healthy, maintain good eating and regular exercise in their life style are also successful in their work and become rich through their investments.
As for exercise, work on something that you like. Swimming combines with running is probably the best. If you want to take it to an extreme you can look into martial arts. On the lighter side, a fast walk can provide you good results too.
Living smart really involves time management and setting priorities in life. You should never say “I do not have time for exercise today”. It should be in your priority list.
Also never starve yourself. Dieting unnecessarily will take you absolutely nowhere. You should eat what you like with moderation but be ready to do more work out.
I find it funny when I see parents taking their kids to Karate or swimming but never ever do it themselves. While the kids are working out, you can do it too.
Another very critical thing is to see your doctor on a regular basis and have a physical every six months or a year.
God forbid, if you are ever diagnosed with a chronic disease like diabetes, do not give up. Your determination to live should be then even higher. Follow your doctor’s advice. Modern medicine can create miracle. You get better if apply your will power.
Most importantly, always remember to look into alternate medicine. For example, Ayurveda, the ancient Indian herbal medicine can create miracles. Try to supplement your medication if any with Ayurveda.
Supplementing your food with vitamins and minerals is always good. But avoid overuse. The overuse of these can be harmful.
Be healthy, successful and rich!
