Rahul Gandhi faces spontaneous resistance from common people across India standing against corruption
Sonia Chopra
Jan. 21, 2012

These are sign of total collapse for the congress party in the coming elections. Can election commission in India really conduct a fair election without rigging?

People raised raised black flags on Saturday and shouted slogans against corruption when Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi was in the middle of addressing a poll rally in tribal-dominated Duddhi in Sonbhadra on Saturday. Soon after their act, they were beaten up by congress supporters attending the Adivasi Sashaktikaran Dhanyawad rally. The police did nothing to these congress supporters who beat up the people protesting against stashed away black money by politicians. It was really funny to find Police detained one of the youths Ajay Kumar Singh, who is said to be the supporter of yoga guru Ramdev. Police did nothing to the congress party supporters that started beating anyone who raised voice against Rahul Gandhi related to massive graft and corruption.

This is the second such incident in the last couple of days.

On Thursday, Rahul Gandhi had to abruptly end his speech at a rally in Banda after some youths demonstrated with banners and posters demanding bringing back of black money stashed abroad in Swiss and other foreign banks.

There are clear signs that people will throw congress party out in elections. There are also clear signs that there will be massive rigging and threatening against those who plan to vote against the ruling party.

Can the Election Commission really guarantee a free and fair election? It will not be easy for sure. Politics in India has become a mega business of making thousands of crores of rupees in stashed away foreign banks be it 2G or common wealth games or else.
