The air saftey is India is simply in shambles and can lead to series of catastrophic accidents one after the other. NY Times obtains unreleased report by the Indian Aviation industry's top regulator and finds all India's airlines are rife with safety violations.

The New York Times obtained the report, which "found fault with almost every one of India's airlines, although the regulator said it had yet to examine Air India's international operations." The article notes while some airlines accepted the report, IndiGo "disputed the regulator's report, saying, among other things, that the airline had removed engines early to comply with a directive from the Federal Aviation Administration."
