The Egyptian Supreme Council of the Armed Forces set a March 19 date for a referendum on constitutional amendments and said parliamentary elections will be held in June, media reported, citing a statement by a member of the Coalition of Revolutionary Youth, Zyad El-Elaily, after he and 16 other coalition members had a meeting with three members of the Supreme Council. El-Elaily said that presidential elections will be held a month and a half after the parliamentary elections and that the council said a civilian government will be set up within a six-month period.
