The people of Bangladesh have finally cornered the pro-Pakistani Zia, the opposition leader, of Bangladesh.
Bangladesh's opposition leader Khaleda Zia has warned the government against inking "any deal against national interests" as the Awami League-led coalition prepares to engage a top level Indian delegation headed by External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee next week. The return to power of "pro-India" Hasina has fuelled speculation that New Delhi may be preparing to take up number of key bilateral issues that have been stalled due to two years of caretaker government in Dhaka.

Mukherjee is also expected to seek the Awami League-led government's cooperation to counter terrorism in the region that are emanating from Bangladesh or linked to the Islamic nation. The proposal of Prime Minister Hasina for a South Asian Task Force on terrorism has been welcomed by India.
In exchange, India will share prosperity, technology and security with Bangladesh. It is time for joy and prosper – Bangladesh finally gets a chance to fulfill Sheikh Mujibar Rahaman’s dream with India.
