There is no chance of Obama to get America out of depression in the next eight years
Sania Soni
Nov. 9, 2008

President-elect Barack Obama will need at least eight years to turn around the U.S. economy, even if he does everything perfectly. He may actually end up as the most worthless President with a big mouth ever. The problem is in the fact that nothing much he can do. His background is standard American dream of power and money. What is needed in this economy is a person who can revolutionize American way of life. He is not that person. He is just that traditional American politician eager to listen to Paul Volker and Warren Buffett. He believes these old rainmakers will create the miracle for him. He is naïve and little informed.

Obama will fail just like any other politicians. But the bad thing is that his failures after such hype will push the black communities back as far as 50 years.

What Obama should do (and he will not be able to do because he is not revolutionary) is to go after those who created this economic mess. People should be educated that the economic meltdown was human created by a few greedy politicians and rich people.

Unfortunately Obama is in bed with the same folks that he should prosecute. His only escape is to bring to justice those who allowed the bubble to happen, those who propagated the bubble, and those who tried to use the bubble to extract wealth out of common American households.

What do expect from this leader who voted to handover $700 financial lollypop to those who are the root cause of the economic depression in America? What do you expect from this leader who supported the telecom companies in Bush’s secret surveillance of American citizens? What do expect of this leader who is going to have lunch with George Bush after all this?
