Russia ready to upgarde its military with $200 Billion and provide highest honor to military men and women – how will US react?
Media Release
Aug. 16, 2008

Now flushed with oil wealth, the Kremlin, is determined to put the military back on its feet, Russia awarded highest military honor to Russian army Major Denis Vetchinov killed in action in Georgia.

Russia's highest award for bravery in wartime formerly known as the Hero of the Soviet Union - was one of dozens handed out to soldiers for distinguished service during the five days of combat.

Madvadev is clear in his intentions. Russia wants to expose its muscle power in terms of defense forces. It wants to move back to the Soviet era where the world would think twice before taking on Russian Military.

The bigger question is how will Bush Administrtaion and the next US President take the new Russian ‘bully boy’.

International think tanks belive, Americans will eventually accept Russia as another superpower. Once the war mongering attidute and arrogance is proven unrealistic, the common sense will come alive.

The bigger question is how will European Union react? EU is showing reluctance to join the American or Russian agenda in any spur between the two superpowers. They may keep the buffer zone not allowing any side to take on the other.

Future US Presidents may sit down with the Russians and negotiate a deal of diving the world into three parts – one for Americans, one for Russians and the other for Europeans. But in that equation where will India and China go? Most likely India and China will paly a much bigger role than the Europeans in the new cold war that is maturing with the Georgian conflict.
