SP’s Amar now worried about his American connections – now SP wants US to amend Hyde Act
Media Release
Jul. 28, 2008

Samajwadi Party on Monday said India should press the United States to amend the Hyde Act passed by the American Congress or enact a law in Parliament to counter its provisions.
It was an interesting stand from Amar Singh. The man who orchestrated with Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi the cash for vote deal to woo BJP MPs is now worried about his American connection.
Amar knows very well America will never amend Hyde Act for India. He knows India’s Congress party will also avoid touching the same issue before the election.
But Amar Singh and SP’s political life may have ended as things are starting to get uncovered about who and how they got motivated to support the Congress party.
