America should not proceed on a deal with Manmohan Singh who undermined Indian democracy by using money and power to win Parliament trust vote
Ratan Sen
Jul. 23, 2008

America made the biggest blunder in India again. They supported and promoted money drive Manmohan Singh and company who literally bought ‘MP accesses’ of different parties to win the trust vote.

This just shows what kind of a democracy is America. America wants its end by hook or crook. Democracy and freedom is just a cover to brainwash people. Common people of India will never forget how America dealt with a minority Government that used ‘Mugabe’ and ‘Saddam’ style to buy MPs for $6.25 million each from BJP and the communists.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Wednesday expelled eight of its Lok Sabha MPs for either cross voting or abstaining during the confidence vote in parliament Tuesday. The expelled MPs are Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, Somabhai Patel, K. Manjunath and H.T. Sangliana (for cross-voting), as also Manorama Madhwaraj, Chandrabhan Singh, Harising Rathod and Babubhai Katara (for abstaining), BJP president Rajnath Singh announced at a press conference here.

The decision to expel the MPs was taken at a high-level meeting earlier in the day at the residence of Leader of Opposition and senior BJP leader L.K. Advani.

Addressing the press conference, Advani said: "Had the cross-voting not taken place, the UPA government would not have won."
