The complexity and suspense around the Indian Speaker of Parliament is rising every moment. A staunch Marxist form West Bengal for the last fifty years, has decided to question his party comrades why they are voting against Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh government.

In the meantime confident congress has started praising the veteran communist leader. Somnath Chatterjee has taken a courageous stand to protest the move of the party to vote along with BJP to bring down the UPA government," WBPCC leader Manas Bhuiyan, who is also the chief whip of the Congress Legislature party, told reporters in his Assembly chamber.

"We congratulate Chatterjee for his stand that if he remains in the post, he may not have to join hands with the communal forces in compliance with the party decision."

This is very unusual for the communists to break rank and files and start questioning the party core decisions in the public.

According to some political think tanks, every politicians has skeleton in their closets. Sonia Gandhi may be holding a key CBI investigative file against the Chatterjee. The Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh’s secret collection of corruption files may trap this man.

There is another theory floating across Kolkata main streets. Some believe, he like many Indian politicians are hard core CIA agent. The Washington’s directive now is to support Manmohan Singh without any question.

There is no proof of any of these. He may simply believe that India-US nuclear deal is just good for India.
