With clear evidence of Pakistan’s ISI involvement in Kabul embassy bombing why is Indian Government not taking the issue with Musharraf sponsoring Bush Administration
It is well known who supports Taliban. It is well known where Al-Queda supreme Osama Bin Laden is getting sanctuary. Now India has clear evidence that Musharraf and his secret ISI agents were involved in trying to blow up the Indian embassy. The purpose is to discourage India from providing infrastructure support for Karzai Government.
According to National Security Advisor MK Narayanan, India has solid intelligence inputs about Pakistan's involvement in the Monday's suicide attack on its embassy in Kabul.
"We not only suspect but we have a fair amount of intelligence (on the involvement of Pakistan)," Narayanan told television channels yesterday.
But how can Pakistan sponsor terror in Kabul with Bush and Musharraf the closest ally? What is going on? Who is supporting whom?
"The ISI needs to be destroyed. We made this point, whenever we have had a chance, to interlocutors across the world... There might have been some tactical restraint for some time, obviously that restraint is no longer present," says Narayanan.
But who is allowing ISI to operate freely in Afghanistan and the rest of the world? It is Musharraf. Who is allowing Musharraf to stay in power? It is the Bush Administration’s misguided policies.
So, why is India not making a roar on this issue with America? What is the use of signing this nuclear pact with a super power that is indirectly allowing the ISI to exist? How can Pakistan operate freely in Kabul and blow up Indian embassy?
It is time for Bush to stop supporting Musharraf and Pakistan in general. It is time for US to push for an ultimatum to the heart of all Islamic terrorism – the Pakistan itself.
