Congress leadership in India can face criminal proceeding for treason charges when the secretive IAEA safeguards document is released to the public
Why is Manmohan Singh so secretive about the India-specific IAEA safeguards document? The official answer from the Indian Government is that no details of these nuclear installations can be provided because the terrorists can take advantage of the data. But in reality most of the locations and their strategic importance is well to the terrorists through Google Earth and other websites that monitor Indian nuclear ambitions.
In reality this Congress part has sold Indian nuclear ambition out to George Bush and his neo con right wing America. That is why the Manmohan Singh Government cannot even disclose it to their former allies – the Left parties.
It is unclear what America demanded. However it is clear that US has also kept the details away from American public. But at least American did not lie to their own people. They divulged the details to selective lawmakers in Washington within closed doors citing international political sensitivity.
Fact of the matter is India has secretly agreed to no future nuclear test. The current Indian Government will allow monitoring of that through IAEA India specific safeguards. China or any other country did not have to that far.
The Congress party leadership in India can face criminal proceeding for treason charges when the secretive IAEA safeguards document is released to the public. But they are also looking at $100 billion worth of kickbacks just like the Bofors case. Like in Bofors every Indian will know Gandhi family and senior congress leadership got flushed with cash but no one will be ever able to trace the details. By the time cat comes out of the bag, the senior Congress leadership will run away from India to European countries leaving a few surrogates to deal with the situation.
