The drama in Indian Parliament has just started. The congress party has literally bought just enough votes to win the first round of no-confidence vote. NDA and the Left parties may not even bring to the floor yet knowing very well the price Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi have promised, Congress cannot pay that to these small parties with a few MPs and a few independents.

"The government is safe. If it were not so, I would not be in Patna. Everything has been arranged (?) for victory and the Manmohan Singh government will prove its majority in the House despite the best efforts of the opposition to pull it down," Lalu Prasad Yadav, the most controversial leader in India, the Railway Minister commented.

When a reporter asked what he meant by ‘arranged’ he said casually- ‘politically arranged.’

"We know we have the support. Elections will be held as per schedule, i.e., by April or May 2009," the failed Finance Minister Chidambaram told media reporters in Chennai.

According political pundits, UPA has ‘arranged’ for a show of victory. They promised the moon to all these splinter parties and independents. They are will to do anything to stay in power. They may even use Military power to nullify the desire of the common people of India.

Nut their political days are numbered. The Government will not be able to the coalition of enemies together for more than a week. At that stage Paratibha Patil, the surrogate of Sonia Gandhi and now Indian President will invoke some kind of an emergency measures that will keep Manmohan Singh in power.
