Sri Lankans strike back at Pakistani criticism of match fixing – Lankans had every right to rest their best players for the final

Pakistani cricket community is up in the arms after India has defeated the Lankans to enter the final. They are suspecting Lankans engaged in match fixing tricks to make sure Pakistan is out of the final.
For India, it was a do-or-die game to make it to the final, while a Lankan victory would have eased host Pakistan's passage for Sunday's final.
But the Lankans having already secured their berth in the final, chose to play a second-string bowling attack - resting the inform Chaminda Vaas and Ajantha Mendes.
Did Sri Lanka under perform to get Pakistan out of the Asia cup? Pakistan greats Waqar Younis and Rameez Raja have slammed the manner in which Lankan lost the match against India.
But Lankans today informally stuck back at the Pakistani cricket community. Lankans played their best, they claim resting some of their best players for the final. There is nothing wrong about it. Every team has the right to rest its strategic players for the final.
