SP’s Amar caught red handed for not demanding the draft of the nuclear safeguards agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) – what is Manmohan Singh hiding?
Balaji Reddy
Jul. 3, 2008

Why is Congress party so eager to hide the draft of the nuclear safeguards agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)?

The cat is about to come out of the bag. The Left parties have been saying that the draft should be shown to them — a demand the government has turned down.

The Samajwadi Party does not appear to have demanded the draft of the nuclear safeguards agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Their decision to support the nuclear deal is based on their own political and financial benefits.

The bigger question is – what is PM Manmohan Singh hiding under the rug this time?

According to sources, the main problem with the Left and the Congress party is the disclosure of this draft. Congress party is cold shouldering it and denying any access to the draft.

Close to $100 billion will be transferred from India to US corporations for buying the nuclear reactors etc.
