Samajwadi Party will signal all positive for Manmohan’s nuclear ambition but at the end it will vote ‘no’

The Congress party and its UPA allies are in a game of scaring the communists. The Samajwadi Party wants to make sure they get their share of limelight in Indian politics and at the end quietly sit tight neither supporting or opposing the deal. They cannot lose the Muslim votes. RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, who is believed to be making efforts to bring the Congress and Samajwadi Party together, is confident of having Mulayam Singh Yadav's party with the UPA on the India-US nuclear deal and expressed confidence that both the government and nuclear deal would survive.

The SP, which has 39 members in the Lok Sabha is negotiating with the Manmohan Government before supporting the deal and the Government.

Sources say, Mulayam Singh Yadav is playing poll cards now. He and Amar Singh supported by the Ambanis are trying to get the best from the deal. They are getting ready for an alliance in the upcoming election.

At the end, they will provide support for the Government and say no to the nuke deal.
