PM Manmohan Singh and his boss Sonia Gandhi led the congress party to cover up the truth about the nuclear deal. According to CPI(M) Politburo member and party's state secretary Biman Bose, "At the UPA-Left Coordination Committee meeting in October-November on the deal, what was stated by the government side did not represent the whole truth. They did not say at that meeting that it was mandatory for the Government to go to the IAEA as it is saying now."

The main problem with India-US nuclear deal is that it is agreed upon by two Governments (Bush Administration and Manmohan Singh’s Congress P{arty) who does not believe in transparency. Neither side ever cared about the people of their own respective countries. American side wanted to tame down Indian nuclear ambition and provide $100 billion to American corporations. Indian side wanted the after taste of that $100 billion dollars.

Manmohan Government lied to Indian people and other political parties. It was a mistake for any Indian patriotic political party to support an Indian Government that restores to lie and hide about Hyde Act. It was wrong to deal with an American Administration that is eager to suppress Indian nuclear freedom.
