BCCI made its position very clear. "The working committee approved the proposal to jointly organise the Champions Twenty20 tournament in September-October involving Australia, South Africa, India and Pakistan," board secretary Niranjan Shah said in a statement.

Indian players are not happy. Kapil Dev is leading the charge against BCCI that have all it could do to stop ICL. The BCCI board faces Kapil Dev who is fighting for honest good cricket cleansing the same from BCCI’s dirty politics.

"Clubs from England who qualify can play provided the teams do not include players who are in the ICL," the statement added.

IPL chief Lalit Modi told reporters: "The BCCI has made its position clear that it will not host or play in tournaments which have ICL players in it."
