Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) and the principal secretary to Jammu and Kashmir governor today said that 8,00 kanals of forest land has been permanently transferred to SASB by the state government.

SASB will go ahead with its program to provide better facilities to the pilgrims despite a disinformation campaign launched by a section of media supporting the Islamic terrorists and communal propaganda of the separatist groups.

"We have every legal right to raise construction on the land. Let the forest department demarcate the land first and we are ready to provide them the compensation of Rs 2.5 crores which has been proposed by the forest department," Kumar said.

More than two lakh Yatris have registered themselves till date and the number is expected to increase and 10,000 Yatris will per day visit the cave.

But Islamic terror operators do not want the Hindus worship their God. The separatists are determined to undermine the Hindus at any cost.
