A secret nuclear arms race between India and China that can dwarf cold war
China and India are the two largest Asian economies ready to become superpowers by 2050. Each country has their strategic nuclear arms and delivery research wings that outclass many in the world. China and India are engaged in a secret nuclear arms race that involves billions of dollars.
Recent upgrades have increased the accuracy and mobility of China's arsenal, while a switch from liquid to solid fuel has shortened reaction times. India has made bigger progress in its delivery mechanisms. Every part of China is within Indian Agni III missile range. The Russians who have better knowledge of Indian missile technologies have recently commented that Indian missile targeting and delivery mechanisms have reach world class levels.
Chinese missiles are targeted at Washington, New Delhi, Taiwan and Moscow. Their main nuclear deterrence come from their nuclear submarine fleet. India is not far behind. India does not believe it has to worry about the attacks from Americans or Russians. Indian deterrence is pointed mainly at Beijing and Islamabad.
As Pakistan has become a no factor in recent days, India has fully engaged in competing with China on the nuclear arsenal delivery systems. India is determined to have a strong and stable nuclear submarine force with nuclear missiles by 2010.
Indian and Chinese missile sites are secret. China used Pakistan for forty tears to check Indian ambition by creating mischievous acts in Kashmir and North East India. Now it recognizes India as a future Asian superpower and is engaging directly to counter the Indian capabilities.
