All eyes on Tendulkar and Saurav as Aussies target bodyline to scare Indian batsmen
Ajit Parker
Dec. 26, 2007

Aussies targeted the body. They put Dravid in a shell. They hit VVS and toppled him. But then came – Saurav and the Indian thunderbolt express – Sachin and Saurav. The bodyline targeting did not work. They steered Indian through Ponting’s increasingly frustrating eyes.

India started a nervous innings and the Aussies bottled the first three wickets. The Aussies are playing strategic cricket – well planned to attack differently every player.

Sachin’s 62 is marvelous till he fell to an inside edge.
