This the free and fair election of Musharraf. The General like many other dictators has conducted ‘free and fair’ election just to get themselves elected knowing very well that in a free and fair election they will be thrown out instantaneously.

This is how communists stayed in power in China, Soviet Union, North Korea and many other countries. This is exactly what the dictators in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and other Middle Eastern countries do.

Nawaz Sharif and his party would have caused a political mud throw resulting in a real democratic coalition. The General does not like any opposition because he knows people will start asking question where he kept the billions of dollars that the American Administration gave him.

It is time Musharraf is brought to justice. Otherwise, what happened in Iran will eventually happen in Pakistan in a far more violent fashion.
