India retains same squad for second test

India's cricket selectors Friday retained the opening test match's squad for the second test starting Wednesday in the eastern metropolis of Calcutta.
S.K. Nair, secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, said the selection panel's meeting, chaired by chief selector Kiran More, picked the same 14 players for the second test of the three-match series.
The second test will be played March 16-20.
India squad: Sourav Ganguly (captain), Rahul Dravid (vice captain), Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Sachin Tendulkar, V.V.S. Laxman, Yuvraj Singh, Dinesh Karthik, Irfan Pathan, Laxmipathy Balaji, Anil Kumble, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan and Ashish Nehra.
