Musharraf ready to hand over nuke blueprints to Saudi Arabia - a secret deal in exchange for total unconditional support
Kirit Chauhan
Nov. 13, 2007

Musharraf is on his way to Saudi Arabia. Pakistan has already in secret agreement with the Saudis to deliver the nukes to them one or the other. Now, battered Musharraf at home is on his way to Saudi Arabia to gain support of Saudis in exchange of hading over the nuke blueprints to the Saudis.

Musharraf wants politicians like Nawaz Sahrif, former Prime Minster of Pakistan, currently exiled in Saudi Arabia kept under check. He also wants the Saudis to influence the Americans so that Musharraf’s kingdom is maintained in spite of almost zero popularity in Pakistan.

Musharraf know the flow of American dollars that he was depending upon is slowly and steadily going to stop. He needs money. Saudis have the money. They need the nukes. They have the oil money.

Saudis are not easy to deal with either. Musharraf faces several trouble as he visits the Royal family of the oil kingdom. Saudis want Pakistani authorities to release the ailing former ISI chief, Lt Gen Hameed Gul, who was arrested with his son Abdullah when he tried to meet deposed Supreme Court Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry after the imposition of emergency.

In addition, they have soft corners for Sharif. The question is who will blink first – the Saudis in need of nukes or Musharraf in need of cash?
