Bush cannot tolerate Saddam and Madella - now it is clear what was the root cause of Iraq war? Simply put it is racism
Chetan Sharma
Sep. 22, 2007

The race card surfaced now with US President George Bush saying ''Well, Mandela's dead because Saddam Hussein killed all the Mandelas''. It may sound funny but in reality now it is clear that the Iraq war is about racism.

Bush's latest faux pas came as he tried to draw a tortuous link between the revered former South African leader and the sectarian violence in Iraq.

"I heard somebody say, ''Where's Mandela?''" questioned Bush.

"Well, Mandela's dead because Saddam Hussein killed all the Mandelas," he added, to the general bemusement of the White House press.

According to The Daily Mail, the South African authorities were besieged with calls after Bush's speech, which was carried live by TV news networks.

Many viewers feared the country's first black president and Nobel Peace Prize winner had died.

It is a shame that Bush had to go after Nelsom Mandela. It is not oil. It is not WMD. It is just a case of racism. What is going on Iraq is a shame. What is bigger shame is that rest of the world is tolerating it to enjoy pseudo prosperity.
