No wide spread Narcotic use in Banglaore call centers - call center employee arrested but Indians are far superior in BPO than the rest of the world

No matter what you say, no one is better than Indian employees. The narcotics case is something that happens everywhere. You cannot and should not categorize all Indian BPO workers as drug users.

Three youths, including a call center employee, were arrested here for allegedly selling and possessing 150 gm of hashish valued at Rs.200,000 in the international market, police said on Friday.

But Indian BPO centers in general are void of any wide spread narcotics. Indians are world's best employees. In it and call center operations no one can even come close to Indian employees. They are smart, humble, and above all possess the sense of responsibilities.

Sleuths of Delhi Police's Narcotics Cell nabbed Shinoj Varghese, an IBM employee, with two other associates Charanjeet alias Lucky and Manoj in a raid in the M-Block Market of Greater Kailash area in south Delhi on Thursday evening.

Police said all the accused are in their mid-20s and reside in the capital.

Charanjeet, who had earlier worked for IBM, was the supplier of the narcotics, while Manoj, a freelance photographer, and Varghese had come to purchase it, police said.

"During sustained interrogation, Varghese revealed that he became a drug addict in order to adjust himself in the call centre environment, where drug abuse is comparatively high," Deputy Commissioner of Police A.S. Cheema said.
