Iraq : Sunnis rethink on using insurgency and joining the Government as Shiites sprint towards controlling the new Iraqi Government what about Al-Zarkawi?
The Shiites are busy forming and dominating the Government. Americans are busy trying to bring in the Sunnis at any cost to subdue the dominance of the Shiites. Iranians are worried of losing out in Iraq if the Shiites religious faction of Al-Sistani decides to distance itself from Iran. In the middle of these complex happenings, Al-Zakawi is totally panicked as the American and Iraqi forces one after the other are catching his top aides.
The Sunni seniors who really control the Sunni society in Iraq are slowly disillusioned as insurgency fail to drive the Americans out, Shiites gain control over the Government and American start offering solid incentives in joining the Government. They are totally perplexed with what to do with Al-Queda satellites like Zarkawi and others.
Al-Zarkawi is extremely weak today. His infrastructure is falling apart slowly. The elderly Sunni leadership is slowly creating situations where his trusted aides are getting caught.
This may be the best moments of American shrewd diplomacy that is working miraculously. When every one concluded, America has entered into a war that is not winnable, America is winning big time not with military but good old American diplomacy and support for real democracy.
