Opec will not be able to halt the collapse of oil price - it is the world economic demand collapsing
Sonya Recks
Sep. 25, 2006

They plan to cut the supply but that will not help. Days of Opec is over - forever. Oil is headed for $20 a barrel.

Opec will not be able to halt the collapse of oil price - it is the world economic demand collapsing. The crude oil supply in the market exceeds immediate demand by more than 400%. And that not include the huge reserve in IS, India and China. That also does not include the extra Russian supplies that is coming in the market.

Ministers from the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries are concerned about their countries'' future. But the fact is oil will probably never see the $80 mark because alternative fuels will take over after it hits $20 a barrel. Oil can stay in $20 to $35 a barrel level for years till alternative fuels take over as lternative cheaper fuel.
