Is NATO winning or losing in Afghanistan?

NATO is combating invisible enemy but still gaining enormous ground.

At least 89 suspected Taliban fighters have been killed during fighting with Afghan and NATO forces in the southern part of Afghanistan, the Defense Ministry announced Sept. 3. During the operation near Kandahar, a Royal Air Force Nimrod crashed, killing 14 British personnel. According to NATO officials, hostile fire was not the cause of the aircraft's loss.

According to experts, Taliban is pressed hard by NATO forces. But theterrain and the military technioques are causing problems for NATO.
