Fuelled by continued outsourcing boom and depreciation of the Rupee, software major Infosys today reported a robust 49.2 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 794 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006, against the corresponding period of the last fiscal.
Beating market expectations, Nasdaq-listed India's second largest software exporter reported revenue growth of 45.6 per cent at Rs 3,015 crore, with Q1 revenues growing sequentially by 15 per cent compared to Q4 of last financial year.
