At least six militants suspected of connections to al Qaeda were killed in a shootout during a raid by Saudi security forces against a suspected militant hideout June 23, the Saudi Interior Ministry said, adding that one member of the security team also was killed. The raid occurred in the al-Nakheel district of Riyadh. One suspect injured in the shootout was taken into custody.
