300 executives of large companies surveyed believes offshore outsourcing would increase if Mr. Bush were re-elected and decrease if Mr. Kerry won the White House

American executives feel Kerry will diminish outsourcing and Bush will facilitate the same in a logical way.

Well does it really matter! Where there is flower and the pollen, bees will find them. Based on this theory it does not matter. The real bottom line is American businesses are outsourcing from India because they have to. If they do not, they just cannot compete with the Europeans and the Japanese and the Koreans. Every nation in the world knows it well the new India under new economy is good in something and that is providing quality service for a little price. Fact of the matter is, global deflation in consumer goods and services coupled with commodity inflation is squeezing global corporations and forcing them to cut cost aggressively. Hence outsourcing will stay and will become a norm in coming days.

According to some of these executives India stands out in providing outsourcing services and way ahead of other destinations. The chart below shows how the aspiring countries rank:
